Owned by husband and wife team, Sadik and Gulsum, the charming Ozmen Hotel Turkey is located in a peaceful part of Calis but still only a 10-minute walk to the beach passing several bars and restaurants along the way. The owners spent many years in Germany and their organizational skills and attention to detail combined with their traditional Turkish hospitality is evident in the running of the hotel.
The Ozmen Hotel is set in a beautiful garden surrounded by sweet gum trees and has a good-sized swimming pool with children’s section, furnished sun terrace and a pool bar serving drinks throughout the day. The Sark Corner offers a relaxing outdoor area to smoke shisha and enjoy a Turkish coffee or two. The main restaurant serves rich local dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients.
The rooms are bright and airy and all have air-conditioning (payable locally), TV, hairdryer, en-suite SH&WC and a balcony. Accommodation is offered on Half Board basis and is a great opportunity to taste traditional home-cooked Turkish food. The Ozmen Hotel Calis is highly recommended.
