Peaceful, relaxing, friendly, unique are just some of the words used to describe the Ocakkoy, Turkey. Located at the very top of Ovacik and overlooking the town of Hisaronu, the eco-friendly complex consists of stone cottages and studio apartments nestled in the pine forest and surrounded on 3 sides by mountains.
Narrow paths, shaded by olive trees, connect the rooms to the centre of the village complex where you will find bars and an a’ la carte restaurant. Spend your day relaxing around one of the 3 swimming pools available; 2 adult only pools and a family pool with a whirlpool tub and a children’s pool. Other amenities at the Ocakkoy include a library, TV room, table tennis, children’s playground and a mini-market.
Varying in size and either individual or in blocks of 2 or 3, each cottage has been lovingly restored and is alive with character and history. Traditionally furnished, the cottages have a small, fully-equipped kitchen, open fireplace, air-conditioning and a private terrace with a large table and four chairs set under an old timber porch covered with grapevines and flowers.
The air-conditioned apartments can sleep up to 4, 1 double bedroom and 2 sofa-beds in the lounge area, and have a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge.
Accommodation is offered on a Self Catering basis at the Ocakkoy Ovacik.
