Formerly the Basar Happy Hotel, the Happy Hotel in Turkey is
one of our smaller, homely properties, only
400m from the centre of Hisaronu. Just off the
dolmus route close to the go-karting track, the hotel
is surrounded by other small hotels, is directly
opposite the Lagoon Hotel, and has wonderful
views of the fields and pine-clad hills behind the
village.
The swimming pool at the Happy Hotel is a good size with
the odd volleyball match. The great thing about
this hotel is that everyone mixes very easily and
so the atmosphere is happy and welcoming. The
bar / restaurant area serves as the centrepoint of
the hotel and is therefore combined as the
reception and has a snooker table plus comfy
corner with TV, safety deposit boxes and fans are
available to hire for a small local charge.
The
majority of rooms are double-bedded and can
all take a third bed. All rooms have air-conditioning
(payable locally), en-suite shower & WC,
a balcony, and are offered on a Bed & Turkish
Breakfast basis. The owner, Aynur, is very friendly
and she has made the Happy Hotel in Hisaronu into a real gem.
