The Gokcen Hotel in Ovacik is one of our favourite properties
and belongs to the lovely Gokce family who are
so friendly and willing to please. Situated below
the Ovacik Road it is a 5 minute walk to catch
the dolmus to Hisaronu, Olu Deniz and Fethiye.
The hotel also has its own taxi and minibus
service (payable locally).
Zahit has made many
improvements to the Gokcen Hotel in Turkey, upgrading it
substantially for British clients. The colourful
gardens are beautifully landscaped as well as
the Turkish style restaurant and bar under the
olive trees. A new block has recently been added and these rooms are luxurious and are better than any others we have seen in Ovacik. These upgraded rooms are subject to availability on arrival and are payable locally. Table football, table tennis, a snooker table, and
cable TV are situated next to the pool bar. The
family at the Gokcen Hotel usually host a BBQ night on a weekly
basis.
Rooms have a double bed and are able to take an extra bed, with ensuite
shower & WC, TV, hairdryer and balcony. Air-conditioning
is available (payable locally). Safety
deposit boxes and fans are available to hire,
payable locally.
Accommodation is offered on a
Bed & Turkish Breakfast basis.
