The Cypriot Hotel in Turkey is located on the border of
Hisaronu and Ovacik and takes less than 10
minutes to walk into the centre of Hisaronu. The
hotel is located below the main Ovacik Road
overlooking the olive groves and surrounding
countryside and a shortcut through the back of
the property leads to the local provision stores
and regular dolmus bus services to the beach in
Olu Deniz and Fethiye harbour. Erkan and his
staff speak excellent English and are very
welcoming, it is a super family hotel.
The
swimming pool is of a good size and surrounded
by plenty of pool furniture. It has a raised section
which acts as an outdoor spa and a small
children’s section. There is an elevated pool bar
at the Cypriot Hotel which is popular in the evenings and serves
snacks and drinks around the pool during the
day. Evening meals are also served by the pool,
home-cooked and highly recommended from our
personal experience. The hotel also has a sauna,
offered free of charge, a laundry service and
safety deposit boxes, payable locally.
We have
given the Cypriot Hotel, Hisaronu a ‘3 jewel’ rating due to the
standard and comfort of the rooms. A spiral
staircase leads to the twin rooms which are nicely
presented and can take an extra person. All have
air-conditioning (payable locally), an en-suite
shower & WC with hairdryer, telephone, and a balcony.
Board is offered on a Bed & Turkish Breakfast
basis.
