The Hauza Beach Resort in Nabq Bay, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt is set in a lovely location in extensive grounds leading down to its own private section of beach. Designed with a combination of Islamic and African cultures, the focal point looking out from the reception of The Hauza Beach Resort is the large swimming pool and there is a second enormous pool on five levels with a waterslide set in an attractive rock formation. The Hauza Beach Resort is an impressive hotel designed with space in mind. When we visited the hotel was full, yet it was difficult to spot guests in the grounds.
The main dining room serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, is light and spacious offering a good variety of dishes and regular theme nights. The Indian restaurant is set on a small island in the lagoon and the Tirana restaurant down by the beach serves seafood and grills; there is also a pizzeria and beach bar. The beach at The Hauza Beach Resort is superb, with 400 metres of sandy private beach with a fixed jetty taking you out across the coral, where there are some fabulous snorkelling sites. Facilities at the resort include mini-golf, football, basketball, beach volley, basket volley, two clay tennis courts, pool table and a huge amphitheatre where live shows are performed. The animation team organises a daily sports program. Children are well catered-for with three playgrounds, mini-club (4-12 years) and children's pool. The hotel also has its own well-kept mini zoo.
The rooms at The Hauza Beach Resort Sharm El Sheikh have air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, electronic safe (small charge), hairdryer and balcony or terrace. Most of the rooms have two queen-size beds, which can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. Room service is also available at the resort (extra charge). This Sharm El Sheikh hotel offers a good standard All Inclusive programme with comfortable accommodation and is recommended.
