The Taj Mahal is one of the most recognisable buildings in the world. It was built by the Mughal Emperor, Shah Johan, in memory of his third wife and is a symbol of eternal love. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Itinerary:
DAY 1: Arrive from the UK and transfer to a hotel near the airport (check-in at 12 noon) for an overnight stay.
DAY 2: Depart for Delhi. On arrival you will be driven to Agra, 205km approximately 5 hours. On arrival in Agra check-in at your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 3: Early morning, before breakfast, leave to visit the Taj Mahal. This stunning heritage site is truly magical at sunrise, walk around the marble dome and wonder at the Persian, Islamic and Indian architectural styles, a sight to behold. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, approximately 10am, check-out of your hotel and drive back to Delhi airport to board the flight to Goa. A transfer will be waiting for you, to take you to your pre-booked hotel in Goa.
