Skylark Hotel, Colva, Goa

The Skylark in Goa has a superb location in the centre of Colva just 200 metres from the beach. Although in a central location, there are paddy fields behind the hotel where it's not unusual to see buffaloes grazing. This part of Colva beach is very busy with lots of beach shacks, watersports and all manner of hustle and bustle. Walk a few minutes either side and the beach becomes much quieter, where you can find long stretches with plenty of space all to yourself.

We think the Skylark Hotel is a real gem, which has had lots of loving care from its owners Debbie and Snowkon. Debbie who was originally from Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk went to Colva in 1996 and has been there ever since! They have upgraded the property from a simple guest house to a superb 2-jewel hotel. The Skylark has two blocks with the Jewel Holidays allocation being on the upper floor of the older block next to the reception. The good sized pool has plenty of space for sunbathing. The Lead Restaurant and bar, next to the reception, has become a very popular venue for lunch and dinner.

The rooms have a ceiling fan, en-suite shower & WC and balcony. The Skylark Resort offers a good standard of accommodation in a great location, just 200m from the beach. It is ideal for those who want to be where all the action is yet able to find peace and tranquillity when they need it.
