Surrounded on three sides by paddy fields with great views of the distant coconut clad hills, The Palmarinha Hotel, which is located 500m from St Alex’s Church which is the first church when approaching Calangute from Panjim, has the feel of being in the Goan countryside yet is only a 5-minute taxi ride into the hustle and bustle of Calangute with its popular markets and hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel provides a daily shuttle service to Calangute beach which operates from 9am to 12pm and the return operates from 3pm until 6pm.

Clients who prefer relaxing by the pool are well catered for; the Palmarinha has two swimming pools, the larger of which is in the centre of the accommodation blocks and the other, quieter pool backs onto the paddy fields. Drinks and snacks are available throughout the day from the pool bar. The multi-cuisine, Palm restaurant has an outside seating area with views of the paddy fields and surrounding hills.
