Failaka Hotel, Benaulim, Goa

Failaka Hotel is a traditional Goan guest house in the village of Benaulim. The village itself is small and has a restaurant and several shops but the local buses pass through so, for the adventurous, it's easy to explore the delights of South Goa, with Margao being 6km away and Colva just 2km. Benaulim beach is under 2km away, easily accessible by taxi for a cost of approximately £1.50 or, for the more energetic, a good 20 minutes' walk.

The Failaka Resort is run by Hamilton and his family and although it has not changed in years, the fact that they take great pride in their property is very much in evidence and it is spotlessly clean. There are just 16 rooms in total served by a small bar and restaurant. All the rooms have a double bed, en-suite shower & WC and balcony.

The Failaka Hotel in Benaulim offers simple, clean accommodation and is a great base from which to explore South Goa.
